Tylenol Extra Strength Cold & Sinus Daytime Caplets provide effective daytime relief from cold and sinus symptoms. The dual-action formula combines extra-strength acetaminophen for pain and fever with pseudoephedrine to relieve nasal and sinus congestion.

Medicinal ingredients

• Acetaminophen – 500 mg per caplet: Relieves headaches and sinus pain while temporarily reducing fever.

• Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride – 30 mg per caplet: Temporarily relieves nasal and sinus congestion and pressure.

Dosage

Adults and children 12 years and older: Take one or two caplets every four to six hours as needed. Do not take more than eight caplets within 24 hours.

Use the lowest effective dose and read the complete package label before use.

Safety warning

Do not use with another product containing acetaminophen or with other cough, cold, pain or fever medications unless directed by a healthcare professional.

Acetaminophen may cause severe or potentially fatal liver damage if taken above the recommended dose, combined with other acetaminophen-containing products or used while consuming three or more alcoholic drinks daily.

Do not use with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor or within two weeks of stopping one. Consult a healthcare professional before use if you take other medication, including warfarin, or have high blood pressure, heart or thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma, kidney or liver disease, or difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate. Consult before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.

Stop use and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms last longer than five days, fever lasts longer than three days, or nervousness, dizziness, sleeplessness or worsening symptoms occur.

Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, contact a poison control centre or seek immediate medical attention, even if there are no symptoms.
