Robaxisal Extra Strength provides dual-action relief from back pain, painful muscle spasms and tense muscles. Each caplet combines methocarbamol, a muscle relaxant, with extra-strength acetylsalicylic acid to relieve pain, stiffness and inflammation.

This combination formula helps relax tense back muscles while temporarily relieving discomfort associated with muscle strains, sprains, neck tension and back pain.

Medicinal ingredients

Each caplet contains:

• Methocarbamol – 400 mg: Helps relax tense muscles and relieve painful muscle spasms.

• Acetylsalicylic acid – 500 mg: Relieves pain, stiffness and inflammation.

Dosage

Adults and children 12 years of age and older: Take two caplets with a glass of water or milk every six hours as needed.

Do not take more than eight caplets within 24 hours. Use the smallest effective dose and use only on the advice of a doctor.

Safety warning

This product contains acetylsalicylic acid and may cause severe stomach bleeding. Do not combine it with other products containing ASA, salicylates or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Do not use if you are allergic to ASA or other anti-inflammatory medications, have an active or previous stomach ulcer, are prone to bleeding or have ASA-induced asthma. Children and teenagers under 18 years of age who have chickenpox or cold or flu symptoms should not use this product because of the risk of Reye’s syndrome.

Methocarbamol may cause drowsiness or dizziness. Avoid alcohol, driving and operating machinery until you know how the medication affects you. Consult a healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication or have a medical condition. Keep out of reach of children and always read and follow the package directions.
