Lactaid Extra Strength Tablets contain naturally sourced lactase enzyme to help people with lactose intolerance digest milk and other dairy products. Taken immediately before foods containing lactose, the tablets help prevent uncomfortable symptoms such as gas, bloating and diarrhea.

Medicinal ingredient

Beta-galactosidase (lactase enzyme) – 4,500 FCC lactase units per tablet: Breaks down lactose in milk and dairy products into simpler sugars that are easier to digest.

Dosage

Swallow or chew the tablets immediately before consuming food or beverages containing lactose.

Start with two tablets and adjust the amount up or down according to the lactose content of the food and your individual needs. Do not take more than four tablets at one time.

If you continue consuming lactose-containing foods after 30–45 minutes, another dose may be required. Always follow the directions on the product label.

Safety warning

Consult a healthcare professional before use if you have diabetes or galactosemia. Headache, heartburn, bloating or hypersensitivity reactions may occur. Stop use if these symptoms develop.

Do not use if you have previously experienced a reaction to any Lactaid product. Stop use and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen.

Store at or below 25°C, protected from heat and humidity. Do not refrigerate. Keep out of reach of children.
