Florastor Daily is a yeast-based probiotic formulated to support gastrointestinal health and help promote favourable intestinal flora. Each vegetarian capsule contains the clinically studied probiotic yeast Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745.

Unlike bacterial probiotics, Saccharomyces boulardii is naturally resistant to antibiotics and can be taken during antibiotic therapy. Florastor requires no refrigeration, making it convenient for daily use and travel.

Medicinal ingredient

Each capsule contains:

Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745 – 2.5 billion CFU (250 mg)

Non-medicinal ingredients

Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, lactose monohydrate and magnesium stearate.

Directions

Adults and children two years and older: Take 2–4 capsules one to three times daily, up to a maximum of 12 capsules per day.

For general intestinal-health support, take 2–4 capsules daily. For antibiotic-associated diarrhea, acute diarrhea or travellers’ diarrhea, take four capsules daily. To help reduce the risk of travellers’ diarrhea, begin taking the product five days before travelling and continue throughout the trip.

For children six years and younger, open the capsule and mix the contents with food or a beverage. If taking antifungal medication, take Florastor at least two to three hours before or after the medication. Florastor may be taken at the same time as antibiotics.

Safety information

Consult a healthcare practitioner before use if you have a weakened immune system, are critically ill or have a central venous catheter. Stop use and consult a healthcare practitioner if digestive symptoms occur, worsen or continue for more than three days. This product does not replace necessary fluid and electrolyte replacement. Keep out of reach of children. Always read and follow the package directions.
