Canesten CanesBalance Soft Vaginal Tablets provide a clinically proven seven-day treatment for symptoms associated with bacterial vaginosis, including unpleasant odour and abnormal vaginal discharge. Medicinal ingredient

L-lactic acid – 225 mg per soft vaginal tablet: Helps restore the vagina’s naturally acidic pH and supports healthy vaginal flora.

Directions

Adult women: For relief of bacterial vaginosis symptoms, insert one soft vaginal tablet daily for seven days. For prevention of frequently recurring symptoms, insert one tablet daily for three days after the end of your menstrual cycle. Use at bedtime.

Remove one tablet from its wrapper and place it into the reusable applicator. Gently insert the applicator into the vagina and press the plunger to release the tablet. Remove the applicator and wash it thoroughly under warm running water after each use. Wash your hands before and after application.

Safety warning

For vaginal use only. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient or if a tablet is damaged. Avoid using CanesBalance while trying to conceive because its low pH may make the vaginal environment less suitable for sperm. Do not use as a contraceptive.

Consult a doctor for a diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis. Contact a doctor if symptoms worsen or persist, or if you experience pain or blood-stained discharge. Temporary stinging may occur if a vaginal yeast infection or small cracks in the vaginal tissue are present.

CanesBalance may be used during pregnancy; however, consult a doctor if you believe you have a vaginal infection while pregnant.
