Aspirin Extra Strength provides fast and effective relief from headaches, migraine pain, joint and body pain, muscular aches, backaches, arthritis pain, menstrual pain, toothaches, fever, and pain associated with colds and flu. Each tablet contains 500 mg of acetylsalicylic acid for extra-strength pain and fever relief.

Medicinal ingredient
Acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) – 500 mg per tablet: Helps relieve pain, reduce inflammation and lower fever.
Directions
Adults 18 years and older: Take 1 or 2 tablets with a full glass of water or milk every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours.
For migraine pain: Take 2 tablets at the onset of pain or symptoms. Repeat every 4 to 6 hours as needed without exceeding 8 tablets daily.
Use the lowest effective dose. Always read and follow the package directions.
Warnings
Do not give to children or teenagers under 18 years of age who have chickenpox, cold or flu symptoms because ASA has been associated with Reye’s syndrome.
ASA may cause serious stomach bleeding. Do not use if you have an active stomach ulcer or bleeding disorder, or if you are allergic to ASA, salicylates or other anti-inflammatory medications. Consult a healthcare professional before use if you take anticoagulants, have a medical condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take other medications.
Stop use and seek immediate medical attention if you feel faint, vomit blood, have bloody or black stools, experience persistent stomach pain or develop signs of an allergic reaction. Keep out of reach of children.
