Anusol Plus Hemorrhoidal Ointment provides fast, effective relief from the pain and discomfort of internal and external hemorrhoids. Its dual-action formula combines a topical anesthetic for additional pain and itching relief with a gentle astringent that helps reduce swelling and irritation.

Medicinal ingredients

Pramoxine hydrochloride – 1%: A topical anesthetic that temporarily relieves pain and itching.

Zinc sulfate monohydrate – 0.5%: Acts as a gentle astringent to help reduce swelling and irritation.

Directions

Adults and children 12 years and older: Clean the affected area with mild soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly and gently pat dry. Apply the ointment to the affected area up to five times daily.

For internal use, lubricate the applicator with a small amount of ointment, attach it to the tube and gently insert it into the rectum. Squeeze the tube gently to release the medication. Wash the applicator with soap and water after each use.

Safety warning

For rectal use only. Do not use the applicator if insertion causes additional pain. Stop use and consult a doctor if bleeding occurs, symptoms worsen or do not improve within seven days, or redness, irritation, swelling or pain develops. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, contact a poison control centre or obtain medical assistance immediately.
