Advil Cold & Sinus Caplets combine a pain reliever and fever reducer with a nasal decongestant for fast, effective and non-drowsy relief of common cold and sinus symptoms. The formula helps reduce swollen nasal passages to relieve congestion while easing sinus pain, headache, fever, sore throat pain and body aches.

Medicinal ingredients

Ibuprofen – 200 mg per caplet: A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that relieves pain and reduces fever.

Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride – 30 mg per caplet: A nasal decongestant that helps reduce swollen nasal passages and relieve congestion.

Dosage

Adults and children 12 to 65 years: Take one or two caplets every four to six hours as needed. Do not take more than six caplets in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor.

Do not use for longer than three days for fever or five days for pain relief or cold symptoms. Take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs.

Safety warning

Do not use with other products containing ibuprofen, acetylsalicylic acid, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or decongestants. Do not use if you are allergic to ibuprofen, ASA, salicylates, anti-inflammatory medications or any ingredient in this product.

Consult a healthcare professional before use if you have an ulcer, gastrointestinal disease, asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, glaucoma, thyroid disease, difficulty urinating, or liver or kidney disease, or if you take prescription medication. Do not use before or after heart surgery, if severely dehydrated, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless directed by a healthcare professional.

Do not give to children under 12 years or adults over 65 years unless directed by a doctor. Stop use and consult a doctor if symptoms worsen, cold symptoms or pain last longer than five days, fever lasts longer than three days, or nervousness, dizziness, sleeplessness or signs of stomach bleeding occur. Keep out of reach of children.

Non-medicinal ingredients

Acetylated monoglycerides, carnauba wax, corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, iron oxides, microcrystalline cellulose, parabens, pharmaceutical ink, povidone, pregelatinized starch, shellac, silicon dioxide, sodium benzoate, sodium lauryl sulfate, stearic acid, sucrose and titanium dioxide.
