Children’s Advil Oral Suspension is specially formulated for children ages 2 to 12, providing effective relief from fever and pain caused by immunization, earache, colds, flu, and sore throat. This dye-free, non-staining liquid formula is easy to dose and has a great taste, making it kid-friendly and convenient for parents.
Fast and Long-Lasting Relief:
Each 5 mL (1 teaspoon) dose contains 100 mg of ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which quickly reduces fever and provides up to 8 hours of relief with a single dose. This means children can feel better for longer, allowing them to get back to play and rest.
Dosage Instructions:

If possible, use your child’s weight to determine the dose; otherwise, go by age.

Shake the bottle well before use and ensure your child takes the full contents of the included dosage cup.

Doses may be repeated every 6–8 hours while symptoms persist, up to 3 times per day.

Do not use for more than 3 days for fever or more than 5 days for pain relief without consulting a doctor.

For children under 24 pounds or under 2 years, consult a doctor before use.

Children weighing 24–35 pounds (ages 2–3) should take 5 mL.

Children weighing 36–47 pounds (ages 4–5) should take 7.5 mL.

Children weighing 48–59 pounds (ages 6–8) should take 10 mL.

Children weighing 60–71 pounds (ages 9–10) should take 12.5 mL.

Children weighing 72–95 pounds (age 11) should take 15 mL.
Caution:
Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor if fever or pain worsens or persists for more than 3 days. Do not use if your child has kidney, liver, or heart disease, high blood pressure, nasal polyps, stomach ulcers, or if they are dehydrated due to vomiting, diarrhea, or lack of fluid intake. Avoid use right before or after heart surgery.
Warning:
Do not give to children taking acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other ibuprofen products, or to those with a history of allergic reactions to ASA, ibuprofen, or any of the listed ingredients. In case of overdose, contact a doctor or poison control center immediately, even if no symptoms are present.
