Nestlé Materna is a once-daily prenatal and postpartum multivitamin formulated to support increased nutritional needs before conception, throughout pregnancy and while breastfeeding. It provides folic acid and 22 additional essential vitamins and minerals to support maternal health and normal early fetal development.

When taken daily for at least three months before pregnancy and during early pregnancy, folic acid helps reduce the risk of neural tube defects.

The formula also contains beta-carotene, vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E, biotin, niacinamide, pantothenic acid, chromium, copper, manganese, molybdenum and selenium.

Dosage

Adults: Take one tablet daily with food before conception, during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products.
