Mucinex Multi-Action Congestion, Stuffy Nose & Cough Liquid - 180 mL is a multi-symptom liquid medicine that temporarily relieves wet and dry cough, chest congestion, nasal stuffiness, sinus congestion and sinus pressure.

Medicinal Ingredients

• Guaifenesin (400 mg per 20 mL) – Expectorant that helps loosen mucus and make coughs more productive.
• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride (10 mg per 20 mL) – Nasal decongestant that helps relieve stuffiness and sinus pressure.
• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (20 mg per 20 mL) – Cough suppressant that helps control wet and dry cough.

Dosage

Adults and children 12 years of age and older: take 20 mL every 6 hours using the supplied measuring device. Do not take more than 4 doses (80 mL) in 24 hours. Children under 12 years of age should not use this product.

Safety Warning

Do not combine with other cough and cold medicines or use with an MAOI, or within two weeks of stopping an MAOI. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have a persistent or chronic cough, excessive phlegm, difficulty breathing, asthma or another chronic lung condition, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, difficulty urinating, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Stop use and seek advice if symptoms worsen or last more than 7 days, or if fever, rash, persistent headache, thick yellow or green mucus, nervousness, dizziness or sleeplessness occurs. Keep out of reach of children.
