Mucinex Multi-Action Congestion, Cold & Cough Solution - 180 mL is a non-drowsy liquid medicine that temporarily relieves nine common cold and flu symptoms, including chest and nasal congestion, cough, fever, minor aches, sore throat pain and sinus pressure.

Medicinal Ingredients

• Acetaminophen (650 mg per 20 mL) – Pain reliever and fever reducer.
• Guaifenesin (400 mg per 20 mL) – Expectorant that helps loosen mucus and make coughs more productive.
• Phenylephrine Hydrochloride (10 mg per 20 mL) – Nasal decongestant that helps relieve stuffiness and sinus pressure.
• Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (20 mg per 20 mL) – Cough suppressant that helps control coughing.

Dosage

Adults and children 12 years of age and older: take 20 mL every 6 hours using the supplied dosing cup. Do not take more than 4 doses in 24 hours. Children under 12 years of age should not use this product.

Safety Warning

Contains acetaminophen. Severe or possibly fatal liver damage may occur if more than the recommended dose is taken, if it is combined with other acetaminophen-containing products, or with three or more alcoholic drinks daily. Do not combine with other cough and cold medicines or use with an MAOI, or within two weeks of stopping an MAOI. Ask a pharmacist before use if you have liver, kidney, heart or thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, a chronic cough or breathing condition, take warfarin, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Keep out of reach of children.
