Medicinal ingredient

Psyllium husk (Plantago ovata) – 3.4 g per serving: A bulk-forming soluble fibre that absorbs water and forms a gel to promote regularity, support healthy cholesterol levels and help provide a feeling of fullness.

Dosage

Place the powder in an empty glass and add 240 mL of water or another cool liquid. Stir briskly and drink promptly.

For fibre supplementation and relief of irregularity:

• Adults and children 12 years and older: Mix one rounded teaspoon or three level teaspoons (7 g) with 240 mL of liquid, one to three times daily.

• Children 6–12 years: Use half the adult serving with 240 mL of liquid, one to three times daily.

For cholesterol lowering:

• Adults: Mix one rounded teaspoon or three level teaspoons (7 g) with 240 mL of liquid three times daily. Take with meals for best results.

For temporary appetite suppression:

• Adults: Mix two rounded teaspoons or six level teaspoons (14 g) with 240 mL of liquid and take with meals, up to three times daily. For occasional use only.

Safety warning

Always take each serving with at least 240 mL of liquid. Taking this product without enough liquid may cause choking or blockage of the throat or esophagus. Do not use if you have difficulty swallowing.

Take at least two hours before or after other medications. Consult a healthcare professional before use if you have diabetes that is difficult to control or take medications that slow intestinal movement, including opioids or loperamide.

Stop use and seek immediate medical attention if chest pain, vomiting, difficulty swallowing or difficulty breathing occurs. Discontinue use if an allergic reaction develops. Temporary gas or bloating may occur. Keep out of reach of children.
