Tylenol Extra Strength Liquid Gels provide fast, effective relief from mild to moderate pain and temporarily reduce fever. Each easy-to-swallow, liquid-filled capsule contains 500 mg of acetaminophen to relieve headaches, backaches, arthritis pain, muscle aches, menstrual cramps, toothaches and aches associated with the common cold.

Medicinal ingredient

Acetaminophen – 500 mg per capsule: Pain reliever and fever reducer.

Dosage

Adults and children 12 years and older: Take one capsule every four to six hours. If pain or fever does not improve after one capsule, take two capsules at the next dose. Do not take more than eight capsules, or 4,000 mg of acetaminophen, within 24 hours.

Safety warning

Acetaminophen can cause serious or potentially fatal liver damage if more than the recommended dose is taken, if used with other products containing acetaminophen or if consumed with three or more alcoholic drinks per day.

Do not use with any other medication containing acetaminophen or if you are allergic to acetaminophen or another ingredient in this product. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have liver or kidney disease, take warfarin-containing blood thinners, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if skin redness, blistering or a rash occurs. Consult a doctor if pain lasts longer than five days, fever lasts longer than three days, symptoms worsen or new symptoms develop. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, contact a poison control centre or obtain immediate medical assistance, even if no symptoms are present.
