Cepacol Extra Strength Sucrose-Free Cherry Lozenges - 16 Lozenges provide temporary relief of sore throat pain and minor mouth irritation in a sugar-free cherry-flavoured lozenge.

Primary Benefits: Extra-strength local anaesthetic action numbs sore throat pain, while menthol provides a cooling sensation and helps suppress coughs.

Active Ingredients: Each lozenge contains Benzocaine (15 mg) as an oral anaesthetic and Menthol (2.6 mg) as a cough suppressant.

Standard Dosage: Adults and children 6 years and older: dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 hours as needed. Follow the maximum daily amount stated on the current package label.

Directions

Allow the lozenge to dissolve slowly. Do not chew or swallow it whole, and do not use immediately before eating or drinking because numbness may affect swallowing.

Safety Information

Do not use in children under 6 years. Do not use if allergic to local anaesthetics. Stop use and seek immediate medical care for pale, grey or blue skin, shortness of breath, fatigue or rapid heartbeat, which may indicate methemoglobinemia. Seek advice if symptoms persist or worsen.
