Medicinal Ingredients
Each 5 mL contains:
- Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (7.5 mg): A cough suppressant that helps temporarily controls a dry, irritating cough.
Dosage
Children 6 to under 12 years: give 10 mL every 6 to 8 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours and do not use in children under 6 years.
Safety Warning
Do not use with an MAO inhibitor or another cough suppressant. Ask a pharmacist before use with antidepressants, asthma, a chronic cough, or a cough with excessive mucus.
