Advil Cold & Sinus Daytime/Nighttime - 18 Caplets provides separate daytime and nighttime relief of sinus pain, headache, fever and nasal congestion; the nighttime formula also treats runny nose and sneezing.
Medicinal Ingredients
Each daytime caplet contains:
- Ibuprofen (200 mg): A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that reduces fever, inflammation, headache and sinus pain.
- Pseudoephedrine Hydrochloride (30 mg): A decongestant that reduces swelling in the nasal passages to relieve nasal and sinus congestion.
Each nighttime caplet also contains:
- Chlorpheniramine Maleate (2 mg): An antihistamine that relieves runny nose and sneezing and may cause drowsiness.
Dosage
Adults and children 12 years and older: take 1 to 2 caplets every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 6 combined caplets in 24 hours.
Safety Warning
Do not combine with another ibuprofen or NSAID product. Ask a pharmacist before use if you have ulcers, bleeding problems, kidney disease, asthma or are pregnant. May cause drowsiness. Avoid alcohol, driving and machinery, and do not combine with another antihistamine or sleep medicine. Ask a pharmacist before use if you have high blood pressure, heart or thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, or take an MAO inhibitor.
