Advil Arthritis Pain Extra Strength Liqui-Gels provide temporary relief of pain from inflammation associated with arthritis. Each liquid-filled capsule contains 400 mg of ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), for relief lasting up to 8 hours.

Active Ingredient

Each Liqui-Gel contains ibuprofen 400 mg, present as free acid and potassium salt.

Standard Dosage and Directions

Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 1 Liqui-Gel every 6–8 hours as needed. Do not exceed 3 Liqui-Gels in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor. Use the smallest effective dose for the shortest time. Take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs.

Do not use for pain longer than 5 days or fever longer than 3 days without consulting a doctor.

Safety Information

Read and follow the complete package label before use. Do not use in children under 12 or if allergic to ibuprofen, ASA or other NSAIDs. Do not combine with other ibuprofen or NSAID products.

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you take other medications or have stomach, heart, kidney or liver conditions. Do not use during the third trimester of pregnancy; consult a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Stop use and seek medical attention if you experience signs of stomach bleeding or an allergic reaction. Keep out of reach of children. This package is not child-resistant.
